Two timeless rap powerhouses are set to collide as Big Boi of the timeless southern hip hop outfit OutKast taps Killer Mike of Run The Jewels to join him in Covington for a one-off show.

When this year’s Ubahn Fest lineup dropped, tristate hip hop fans goggled over the lineup which initially featured Big Boi, amongst an offering of the game’s most relevant and popular artists. After a short time, Big Boi unfortunately had to drop from the lineup, a void which was quickly filled by one of the biggest EDM acts in the country, Steve Aoki.
It’s not uncommon for artists, especially those of the stature of Andre Three Stacks’ Caddy-slamming compadre, to have scheduling conflicts arise, but it is far less common for them to make good on their commitment.
Big Boi is doing just that, as he plans to bring his stage show the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky market on the heels of his dope and diverse new project, Boomiverse.
Big Boi will be performing at the Madison Theater on Tuesday, September 19th, not long after his originally-scheduled performance. Tickets go on sale via Ticketmaster this Friday, August 11th at 10:00am EST.
